no braces!

so a few interesting events have taken place in the last couple of days...
first off,

 i FINALLY got my braces off and can i just say that it is such a great feeling!! they are sooo soft!!! at first i loathed them with a passion but now that they are half gone, i really do appreciate them.

Then it was my birthday, and we went to Portland and shopped around and went to cafe yummm! it is SO good, and the guy there gave me free food! he didn't even know it was my birthday! 

and THEN i left for college, kinda bitter sweet but i am really truely excited, just sad to leave all my friends and family. college is going to be SUPER fun though and i cant wait to be there.

anniversary.

so a couple of days ago was my two year anniversary of living here in Washington. i cant believe it has been two years already... it has go by so fast!

im so grateful for the experiences i have had and the new friends i have made while i was here. thank you for everyone that has played a role in my life because i am just a little piece of all of you. now here are som important people:

5 days until my birthday,,,(i need to finish the BOM)

New adventures!!

You know what? I have lived in the Northwest for most of my life and I have NEVER been to Mt. St. Helens!?! doesn't that just make you sad? I mean how could I do that??

well the wait is over i guess you could say! we decided to take a little trip to said mountain and see the history of the explosion...
did you know that rocks from the eruption were thrusted 600 MPH out to the surrounding areas? they are still there!  Or that some trees that were hundreds of years old were snapped in half like toothpicks? yeah well i just think that is asinine!!! ( thats my word of the moment..haha)

I hateee textbooks!

So I leave in less then two weeks which is leaving me a little frightened... i had to get some of my text books online and i finally bought them last night.. can i just ask you why they are so expensive?!?! like, my french textbook alone is 217 dollas!! thats so crazy!!!

also, i went to the fair with Polly and her famdamily and this is what we did:

We held a baby goat,

and played with a baby wallaby, it is SO cute

and last but not least, we walked on water!!!!
